Preparing Faith Communities to
Protect Children and Youth
Training at Lincoln's Child Advocacy Center
Dove's Nest wants to invite you and others in your faith community to our final FREE Preparing Faith Communities to Protect Children and Youth training opportunity. This workshop will raise awareness of the faith community’s role in keeping children and youth safe. Come learn how your faith community can prevent child abuse and neglect, including tips for child protection policies and practices. This workshop will also connect participants with local professionals who can help strengthen families and keep children and youth safe. The training session is being hosted by Lincoln's Child Advocacy Center and will be held Saturday, May 2, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

This workshop meets the criteria set by the Nebraska Board of Mental Health Practice for 2 CEUs for Social Work, LMHP, LMFT, LIMHP, and Licensed Professional Counselors. It also counts for 2 in-service hours for family child care providers, provider assistants, child care center teachers, assistants, and directors and preschool/school-age center teachers, assistants, and directors!
