Hello <<First Name>>

Our annual digital inclusion campaign, Get Online Week, will take place from 14-20 October this year. You can now register as an event holder and order your free marketing pack, jam-packed with posters, leaflets and other exciting goodies.

Over 5.3 million people have never been online in the UK and there are 11.9 million people who don’t have the essential digital skills to navigate life and work. We want to change this, so we’re inviting you to help others get more out of life online.

Thousands of events will take place in hundreds of communities during the week. So why not take part and help people take their next step on their online journey, helping them to build skills whilst improving lives along the way. You can hold an event for your customers, clients, residents or service users. All you need is a venue, a few tablets and a friendly welcome.

You can follow the campaign on social media at @GetOnlineWeek or by searching for #GetOnlineWeek. Don’t forget to share your plans and your pictures with us!

WEBINAR: Running a successful crowdfunding campaign
THE VILLAGE SURVIVAL GUIDE

This week is National Countryside Week! Hosted by The Prince’s Countryside Fund, the annual campaign aims to raise awareness and celebrate the values of the countryside.

The Prince's Countryside Fund has produced a handy Village Rural Survival, containing research findings around the challenges & opportunities faced by those living and working in the countryside. The guide also contains case histories, checklists, as well as hints and tips to help get communities more up and running.

We’ve also taken the opportunity to highlight a
great story that’s come out of our own work with The Prince’s Countryside Fund.

Find out how Online Centre Airedale Enterprise Services in Keighley, West Yorkshire has been supporting local businesses to better use digital and upskilling Digital Enterprise Champions to help even more people living and working in rural areas.
