Hello <<First Name>>

Over 7 million people in the UK only use the internet in a limited way. They are online but aren’t improving their digital skills.

Good Things Foundation, funded by Google.org, is working on a new project to help 30,000 of these 'limited users' to gain the confidence and digital skills they need to thrive online - becoming regular, confident, capable and safe users of digital technology.

The Make It Click programme aims to help adults achieve positive life and work outcomes, particularly around employment, by supporting them to understand how digital skills can change their lives, and give the practical skills and knowledge to build their confidence to do so.

We’re inviting centres from across the UK to apply for funding to deliver the project and we’re offering four contract sizes that Online Centres can apply for: £1,250, £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000

If you’re interested in applying for grant funding, please read the following guidance. Applications opened on Monday 21st October and will close at 5 PM on Friday 8th November 2019

AN INVITATION TO OUR LONDON SHARE & LEARN EVENT

After the success of our Share & Learn event in Manchester, we’ll be holding a similar event on Tuesday 28 January in London. We have some exciting speakers planned and engaging workshops you can take part in. We’re also looking for individuals to deliver a short lightning talk about a topic you’d like to share with others to help engage and inspire our network. If you’re interested in speaking at our event, please email
hello@goodthingsfoundation.org.

We want to hear from you!

Get Online Week 2019 was a roaring success! Over 1,200 centres took part in the campaign and it was great to see so many centres sharing their pictures on social media. Many Good Things Foundation colleagues enjoyed visiting your events and getting involved in your activities. A big thank you from us to every organisation that took part and held an event this year.

We’re keen to hear your feedback about Get Online Week. Please take 5 minutes to tell us what we can do differently in our post-campaign survey. It's also your way to tell us exactly how many people you reached during the campaign so we can measure the national impact of Get Online Week and prove to people just how much of a difference you make.
