Hello <<First Name>>

I’m excited to announce our new buddying scheme which will give you the opportunity to be paired up with a member of the Good Things Foundation team - to build a relationship and gain support from our experienced staff.

A member of the Good Things Foundation team will contribute their time, connections and expertise to support your organisation. This will include visits to your centre and regular catch up calls.

We have 15 opportunities available to commence in October. If you are interested in being paired with a buddy as part of this pilot, please complete the form below.

Best wishes
Helen Milner OBE

We’re excited to announce that our next Joining Forces event, a showcase of community services and membership networks will take place on Wednesday 20 November at the Trinity Community Arts Centre in Bristol. This will be a great opportunity to find out more information about local membership and community services that can help you strengthen your own organisation.

You can drop in and chat with us, and any of our partners, any time between 11am and 2pm - just book your place so we know you’re coming!

Feedback for Locality membership survey

Earlier this year we shared the fantastic opportunity of 6 months free membership with our partners, Locality. Many of you have taken up this great offer, and we're really pleased we’ve been able to agree this special membership for the Online Centres Network

However, for those who did not take up this opportunity, we'd really like to find out why not - just so we can make sure we’re providing useful and beneficial opportunities. So if you didn’t decide to join Locality for free for 6 months, please take 2 minutes just to let us know what stopped you.

We're looking forward to many organisations coming together from communities across the UK, including network members, delivery partners and a range of others.

We have two exciting speakers confirmed - Liza Belozerova from Google and Magid Magid, Green MEP for Yorkshire and Humber and former Lord Mayor of Sheffield

ONS CENSUS REHEARSAL

Earlier this year, we were awarded a contract by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) to provide support to people who lack either the skills or access to complete the 2021 UK census online.

To get started, we’ll be trialling this support in 4 areas - Carlisle, Ceredigion, Tower Hamlets and Hackney - from 25th September to 17th November 2019. If you’re in these areas, or are interested to know more, take a look at our
website
