Hello <<First Name>>

If you missed out on our Digital Evolution conference last week and are keen to engage with other Online Centres, our Share and Learn event is taking place on Tuesday 28 January at the NCVO in London!

We’ve got lots of engaging speakers lined up for the day - Hafsha Shaikh from Smartlyte will share the many benefits of implementing a family learning approach into your delivery model; Aurelie Ramgoolam from Crofton Park library will be talking about how they support the learner journey and employability training, Stephanie Linkogle, a tutor at Mind in the City, will deliver a talk named 'Use your Mind: Mental Health in ESOL and IT in Adult Education' and Yvette Evans from Emmaus Lambeth and Surrey will be sharing her thoughts on the impact of digital learning.

We’ve also got bid writing and social media workshops, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet members of the network team and chat with other Online Centres. Don’t miss out, book your place today!

Thank you #DigiEvol19

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our fantastic speakers, everyone who came along and took part in our interactive sessions at #DigiEvol19 and to BT Group for hosting us for the 8th year. Videos of the conference will be available next week, so keep an eye out in our next newsletter!

HELP US HELP PARENTS IN CONFLICT

Over the past few months, we’ve been working with parents in Online Centres and relationship experts, One Plus One, to create some short online videos to help people think differently about their relationships - and we think they could be really valuable resources for some of the people you support.

We all argue sometimes - life stresses can be a strain on families and lead to conflicts which can impact on children. These videos will help people make small changes that could make life easier for everyone in the family.

The videos will be launched online in January 2020 and we need your help to get the message out there - whether that’s by sharing a link on your social media, displaying a poster in your centre or just by telling your learners.
