HMRC funding opportunity - opening 22 March! 

Since 2015, our community partners have supported over 40,000 people with advice and guidance on HMRC services. We’re now extending this funded programme for a further three years, from May 2021 to March 2024. 

Applications open on Monday 22 March and will close at 12pm on Friday 9th April. Members of the network can apply for various contract sizes of up to £8,000. Please visit the website from Monday to read the guidance before applying. Applicants will need experience of supporting people with HMRC services and be able to support individuals across a number of areas.

We are hosting a webinar on Wednesday 24 March at 10.30am to share more information about the opportunity and to answer any questions that you may have. Due to our webinars having limited capacity, we please ask that no more than two members of staff from each organisation join the session, to allow as many community partners as possible to take part. 

New NCVO digital, data and technology resources for organisations

NCVO, a voluntary sector organisation that supports community groups, charities and social enterprises across England by providing them with resources and advice, has recently launched a new suite of resources all about digital and technology. 

This is a fantastic pool of resources, developed in collaboration with many organisations that they work with, including Good Things Foundation, referencing our work around digital inclusion. New resources include step by step guides, useful tips, as well as practical advice which are split into the following sections:

• Designing services, products and activities
• Digital accessibility and inclusion
• Data protection and cybersecurity 
• Funding for digital and technology costs
• Digital advice and support
