Hello <<First Name>>
I wanted to make you aware of a couple of exciting new opportunities for you, our community partners.
Last week, our Future Digital Inclusion (FDI) programme reopened for funding applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to help support individuals to learn essential digital skills for life and work. Funded by the Department for Education, FDI sees our community partners provide basic digital skills training to those who need it most.
Various contract sizes are available to help deliver the project between October this year and March 2021. All members of the Online Centres Network not currently funded through the programme are eligible to apply. There is just over a week left to apply, so if you’re interested, please read the funding guidance in full, and visit the funding opportunities page to apply.
Our Good Things Foundation community partners Slack group is a new workspace to help organisations in our network share useful information and resources. Whilst we will continue to share our updates here and across our social media channels, Slack offers an additional benefit of the opportunity to chat to one another.
As a messaging platform designed to make communication easier within organisations, teams and projects, it has lots of features such as direct messaging, private groups and themed channels you can join. You can also upload and share content, as well as react to posts with emojis and comments.
I know lots of you are doing amazing work already, helping and supporting each other, and Slack could be another fantastic way for you to collaborate with others. You can access Slack through a browser on a computer or laptop, or through a free app on any mobile device.
Best wishes
Helen Milner, CEO Good Things Foundation
