Thursday 14 November 2019

Hello <<First Name>>

Our Digital Evolution conference is just two weeks away! I’m really looking forward to meeting many of our Online Centres, national funders, partners and other organisations involved in digital and social inclusion on Thursday 28 November at the BT Centre in London. I’ll be chairing the event and talking all things digital and how it can make you happier, healthier and better off. We’ve also got a great lineup of speakers, including:

  • Kerensa Jennings - Digital Skills Director for BT Group
  • Liza Belozerova - Google
  • Magid Magid - Green MEP for Yorkshire and Humber
  • Peter Estlin - Lord Mayor of London

We've also got a range of workshops that you'll be able to attend on the day:

  • Building a learner journey
  • Working with learners to design services for them
  • Online safety for families
  • Offering accessible services
These workshops are designed to provide information on a topic of interest, so you can take away knowledge and insight to apply within your organisation.

Best wishes

Reboot Report

Read our new report, Connecting with Digital - an evaluation of our Community Connectors programme, run as part of the Reboot UK programme.

Reboot UK helps people experiencing homelessness, or mental health issues, to improve their digital skills and in turn their mental health and wellbeing. Community Connectors have been a key part of the programme - they are beneficiaries with lived experience of the issues faced by others, or people who are committed to co-production with people with lived experience. They in turn went on to recruit Digital Champions.

Through the programme we:
  • Created 15 Community Connector roles
  • Trained 259 Digital Champions
  • Trained 2,507 people
