Safer Internet Day is right around the corner, taking place on Tuesday 5 February. Ahead of the campaign we’re excited to finally be able to share the new Online Safety courses on Learn My Way with you.

The world of internet safety is ever-changing and it’s really important that our content on Learn My Way is up to date so that we can help you to keep your learners' experiences online safe.

At each stage of the design process, our learning team worked with Online Centres to co-design the new courses. Online Centres felt that even though the updates were important, there are still core aspects of online safety from the previous courses that need to remain the same.

As we help more people to get online, it’s important to ensure that we keep them safe when interacting with others. One key message we wanted to share in the new content is that not everyone is genuine or friendly online. However, with the help of our new courses, we hope that if one of your learners does have a negative experience online that they are aware of the next steps.

Previous Online Safety courses will only be available until Friday 1 February, for more information please speak to your network specialist.
